The XP Deus 2 Remote Control or RC is the control module that allows you to adjust the internal settings of your Deus2. It can be fixed on the stem or stored in a pocket – The remote control is not required if you choose to use the WS6 headphones as a master to control your detector.

P DEUS II Search Programs
The XP DEUS II offers a wide selection of factory programs for different targets, ground conditions, and detecting environments. Each program uses specific frequencies and settings to provide reliable performance for its intended application.
GENERAL — Versatile Everyday Detecting - FMF | Maximum frequency: 40 kHz
GENERAL combines low and high frequencies to provide accurate target identification in a wide range of soils. Because it reduces signals caused by damp or wet ground, it helps prevent false tones around holes and disturbed soil. As a result, you can search for deep targets with greater confidence.
This program also reduces responses from coke, coal, and conductive stones. However, it may slightly reduce sensitivity to very thin, low-conductive targets such as aluminum foil. Overall, GENERAL is an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced detectorists.
SENSITIVE — Small Targets and Difficult Ground
FMF | Maximum frequency: 40 kHz | Frequency addition
SENSITIVE combines low and high frequencies up to 40 kHz. Therefore, it performs well on a broad range of targets while remaining highly sensitive to small objects.
This program is especially effective in mineralized soil and areas containing large amounts of metal debris.
SENSI FT — Detailed Full-Tone Audio- FMF | Maximum frequency: 40 kHz
SENSITIVE FULL TONES uses the same foundation as the SENSITIVE program. However, it adds Full Tone audio and increases Reactivity from 2.5 to 3.
Each target produces a tone based on its conductivity. Consequently, the program provides rich and detailed audio information. It works especially well in iron-contaminated and mineralized ground, although interpreting its varied tones may require additional experience.
FAST — Quick Target Separation- FMF | Maximum frequency: 40 kHz
FAST also builds on the SENSITIVE program. However, it combines Pitch audio, a Reactivity setting of 3, and Square audio.
Together, these settings allow the detector to respond quickly and separate closely spaced targets. Therefore, FAST is an excellent choice for mineralized sites containing heavy iron contamination.
PARK — Recreational and High-Trash Areas- FMF | Maximum frequency: 24 kHz
PARK is designed for recreational areas that commonly contain modern trash. For example, it works well in public parks, campgrounds, playgrounds, and on dry beach sand.
Its settings provide effective target separation while helping you search busy, metal-contaminated locations.
DEEP HC — Coins & High-Conductive Targets- FMF | Maximum frequency: 14 kHz
DEEP HIGH CONDUCTOR combines very low and medium frequencies up to 14 kHz. As a result, it provides greater sensitivity to high-conductive targets.
This program is ideal for locating coins, including coin clusters and individual coins at depth.
DEUS MONO — Adjustable Single-Frequency Operation- Monofrequency | Adjustable from 4 to 45 kHz
DEUS MONO operates on one adjustable frequency instead of several simultaneous frequencies. Nevertheless, it retains DEUS II advantages such as its expanded frequency range, improved performance, high-quality audio, and enhanced electromagnetic interference rejection.
Because only one frequency operates at a time, DEUS MONO can provide a more stable option in areas with difficult electromagnetic interference.
GOLD FIELD — Mineralized Gold-Bearing Ground- FMF | Max. frequency: 40 kHz
GOLD FIELD is designed for highly mineralized soil where natural gold may produce signals similar to the surrounding ground or iron.
The program uses All Metal operation for greater depth. In addition, it rejects only the localized ground setting. For the best results, update the ground balance regularly by using the Ground Grab function.
RELIC — Large and Deep Targets- FMF | Maximum frequency: 24 kHz
RELIC uses a processing method similar to GOLD FIELD. However, it applies lower, subtracted frequencies to improve detection of large metal objects.
It also combines All Metal operation with a low Reactivity setting for greater depth. Because it rejects only the localized ground setting, you should update the ground balance regularly with Ground Grab.
DIVING — Saltwater and Underwater Detecting- FMF | Max. frequency: 14 kHz
DIVING is the most stable of the three DEUS II saltwater programs. It is designed for underwater searching, although it also performs well on wet beach sand.
Its combination of very low and medium frequencies helps locate valuable targets such as coins and rings. At the same time, it responds less strongly to low-conductive trash such as aluminum foil. Therefore, it can save time in difficult underwater conditions.
BEACH — Small Targets in Wet Sand- FMF | Maximum frequency: 24 kHz
BEACH uses frequencies up to 24 kHz, making it more sensitive to small targets than the DIVING program. It is particularly well suited to wet sand and other saltwater-affected areas.
BEACH SENS — Maximum Beach Sensitivity -FMF | Maximum frequency: 40 kHz
BEACH SENS uses frequencies up to 40 kHz to provide excellent sensitivity to very small targets. However, it still maintains strong performance on larger objects.
